New Kitchen Faucet!

Ours broke. We had to buy a new one and they aren't cheap.

Josh doing the manly part because I tried and couldn't succeed. Much to my dismay since I revel in being able to do the fix it stuff around the house.

Here's the result. I love it! It's really pretty and very functional!

My Birthday!

I was absolutely spoiled this year! Thank you everyone who sent such nice happy birthday messages to me :)! I'll just tell you quickly how much fun I had. First Josh got me flowers (he had to find a place that sold star gazer lilies because they're my favorite) and took me to Carabas to eat on my actual birthday. Then on Friday, Ali and Howard took Mckayla for the weekend and sent Josh and I to stay at the Grand America in SLC for a night. We went shopping at the Gateway, had amazing food at the restaurant there, watched The Princess and the Frog (super cute movie BTW) got up and had room service breakfast that was also amazing, went to see the Lightening Thief movie, then went to our friends little boys birthday party, stayed up late with them and watched Sherlock Holmes (awesome) and slept in Sunday morning like we were on vacaction and missed church (shame on us) then went and picked up mckayla (who I missed so terribly that I cried when I saw her) and headed home. (Panting from lack of breath...) IT WAS AN AWESOME BIRTHDAY!

Josh's treat from the Chocolate Factory. Looks like a saran wrapped Rocky Road turd. LOL!

My treat from the Chocolate Factory. Looks like heaven. And it was!

I adore butter balls! The perfectly formed and textured little lumps of perfection.

My breakfast partialy eaten. I couldn't wait to take a bit before the picture :)

Mckaylas sweet face on the way home that I missed so much while we were away!

Jazzin' it up!

Josh and I got some super nice tickets to dinner and the Jazz game last night. It was awesome! (Thanks Rudy for tending Mckayla so we could go!)
We got to be part of the 100 club for the night and ride the elevator up to the top and dine on a feast fit for a king. They had about everything you can imagine from turkey with gravy and mashed potatoes, asparagus, fresh rolls, specialty drinks(non-alcoholic), grilled clam things in garlic, roast beast, salad and fresh cut fruit of all kinds, and for dessert there was about 5 different kinds of cakes and pies and ice cream and cream cheese blintzes with brown sugar sauce and berries! Wow were we full! It was all so dang good and we loved it!
We were in row A (pretty much on the court) and I don't know if I can enjoy the Jazz from any other seat now.

We were so close, that this guy featured below fell right in Josh's lap and pushed off of him to get back in the game.

This poor kid was in a contest during one of the time outs where he had to where these pro sized shorts and shoot a basket at the same time. Well...he turfed it and lost the contest due to wardrobe malfunction :)

Then there was this 93 year old lady who busted a move out on the court and did the splits. They don't leave you sitting bored for a minute!

And to top it all off, President Monson was across the court with his wife eating popcorn! What a night I tell ya!

Book Mark

Here is a cute little book mark I made today. I got tired of using business cards in all my books and decided to make a real one. There's no tutorial, but it's pretty self explanatory I think. If you do want to make one and have questions though, ask away :)
